My Hero 04:03
My Hero w/m Bryan Stevenson At 5 years old I believed in you, looked up to you The cowboy from way out west At 17, I met the man who lost his wife, his love, his will retired from the mess Fighting to keep things off his chest Years have passed and you have passed and all that’s in the past One thing that lasts You’ll always be my hero You’ll always be superman I never got to tell you but every now and then I know you …are…right… here in my dreams... come to save the day my hero I always heard the story of how You took a bullet when you stormed the beach In a box full of old letters now I read about it with my own eyes, in your own words I see, bravery was never out of reach Whenever I’m in doubt I think about The heroes who have come before That’s when I close my eyes There I find the strength to try a little more… *Dedicated to the Memory of Paul Edward Reeves and Larue Leroy Stevenson – My Grandfathers

Remain 04:44
You Remain W/M Bryan Stevenson The Sun comes up it’s a new day And the race begins once more When I fix my eyes on earthly gain Can’t find the peace I’m looking for I can feel you drawing closer Asking me “Where have you been?” With your mercy’s new, You are unchanged And your Whisper pulls me in, pulls me in Seasons come and seasons go But your love’s steadfast – the same Mountains may crumble the Sky may fall But You remain You Remain When Storms of life surround me And the Waves are crashing in You shelter me, protect me And your Whisper pulls me in, pulls me in Seasons come and seasons go But your love’s steadfast – the same Despite the Trials and the way things appear You remain You Remain

Your Will Be Done w/m Bryan Stevenson I try to keep this ship on course turn to the right and wind up wrong I step aside, fall under your reign In my weakness you are strong Your Kingdom come Your will be done I find in you a resting place Hide me in your presence Abundant Love, Abundant Grace Renew my mind to innocence Your Kingdom come Your will be done

I Cry Out 03:55
I Cry Out w/m Bryan Stevenson I cry out with no reply All these questions and I don’t know why You ever said You’d never leave I wake up to another day And wonder if you ever have anything to say If silence is golden Why am I left holding the pain? I’m out of tears I’m on my knees I can’t see you… Do you see me? When you’ve spoken, I pushed you away Tell me how long can your patience stay And look right past my lack of focus You tried to give me my hearts desire Despite the obedience you require You offered me bread I didn’t notice… You cried out time after time Looking for your will, not mine Stumbling in the darkness with My hand right here to guide you I only asked for your broken heart You kept it hidden and torn apart I can only heal the wound if you let me stand beside you I’ve numbered your tears I’ve heard all your pleas I’m holding you Do you see me?

Prodigal from a small town w/m Bryan Stevenson You’ve made some mistakes in life Can’t decide if you know wrong from right Thought you’d do better on your own Lost the will to stand up tall Took a punch you’re prepared to fall Need to run to your father but you just won’t go Lost sight of heaven And it’s a long way down Wonder can you be forgiven Yes you can, take it from me Another prodigal from a small town Forgiveness is just a prayer away Deliverance comes any day Take his hand and he’ll lead you home The door is open, the future’s bright From the darkness, into the light No longer have to make it on your own Catch a glimpse of heaven Walkin down streets of gold However can you be forgiven Yes you can, take it from me Another prodigal from a small town

Emptiness and Promises I’ve thought about pain I’ve thought about lies What happens when emptiness and promises collide? You thought about… you And how it’s best to never see things through Now the words have gone and silence remains There’s nothing left to say! Will things ever change? Will I know if they do? I never imagined being hurt this bad by you So, What happens now? When it’s so obvious that Faith and Hope left town And Conversation ran the other way There’s nothing left to say! Without a doubt I know There’s more to life than this Before another moments gone Please, walk away I’d rather you not beg Or waste another tear with me Truth be told enclosed in the pain… There’s nothing left to say,

Calling in favors w/m Bryan Stevenson It’s about time It’s about me You might think it selfish But to avoid insanity I’ll stop waiting For a change and And a long overdue, heartfelt apology I’ve asked myself How did I wind up here? Now I’m calling in favors, Gone are yesterday’s fair-weather friends Without eyes open It’s hard to see how this tragedy Will end You avoided Conversations That could somehow lead To someone accepting blame I’ve listened And what you’ve spoken All sounds like A never-ending game Now I’m calling in favors Thanks to yesterday’s fair-weather friends My eyes are wide open And it’s clear to see how this tragedy Will end

Another Day 04:54
Another Day (Ironies’ Reprise) w/m Bryan Stevenson She ducks down the alleyway And feels a cold dark chill Impatient for the ecstasy of Mother Nature’s thrill A thousand tiny needles in alabaster guise As she draws her final breath she hears Ironies’ reprise 11 years he drove the team bragging almost every day 'til he fell off of his mighty throne and landed on disgrace called himself a raconteur just to cover up the lies Pride comes before the Fall to the sound of Ironies’ Reprise Turn your eyes turn the Wheel from all the bitterness they feel just sit back and hear the music play When their lives lay in waste from Evil’s unrelenting chase then ask yourself 'Will they ever go away'? Weakness rules – never strong, deception that they don’t belong Do they deserve to live another day As I stare into the looking glass the man staring back at me reflects on the question 'are you who you're s'posed to be?' no beat was missed when I said 'yes' and I failed to recognize complacency leads us in a dance to Ironies' reprise

Rearview 03:27
Life in the Rearview w/m Bryan Stevenson They say hindsight sees clearly But I disagree Dwelling on all of the things that I’ve done Violently grabs ahold of me My freedom is robbed by guilt and shame Peace gives way to fear That’s when your gentle voice calls to me Reminding me that you’re near Forgetting what I’ve left behind I press on toward the prize Despite all of the pain I’ve caused you remain true Then I know I can’t live life in the rearview I’m not saying you won’t make mistakes But they can’t consume you now It’s difficult sometimes to live by grace Still I know it’s enough somehow… Not my strength, but your sacrifice Not my blood, but yours paid the price Forgetting what I’ve left behind I press on toward the prize Despite all of the pain I’ve caused you remain true I know this life won’t always please you When I fall teach me how to stand when it’s hard to Then I know I can’t live life in the rearview

Everything 03:49
Everything w/m Bryan Stevenson I read the headlines, See the news, wonder how Anyone can make it Without a woman like you and solemn vow I ask myself what did I do, To find a lover, find a friend At the end of the day the chaos remains but a smile from you and I pretend that Everything’s gonna be alright At least it will be when I close my eyes And find peace in the dark at night Everything’s gonna be alright Everything’s gonna be alright I know it will be when I close my eyes And find you in the bed at night Everything’s gonna be alright The sun comes up slowly Open my eyes it begins again You and I can make a difference Working together that’s what He said Before we hit the ground running I say a prayer we’re on our way Gotta stay focused Gotta believe throughout the day that Everything’s gonna be alright I know it will be when I realize that He has already won the fight Everything’s gonna be alright Everything’s gonna be alright So long as I have you by my side And find you in the bed at night Everything’s gonna be alright

Cry 03:38
Cry w/m Bryan Stevenson take it back to the start before you gave up before innocence got stripped away and left you broken, torn apart searching for the missing words you wished that you could say cry - I hear you while your heart is speaking I - I'll carry you while you are seeking My Love - don’t you give up on me As you walk another mile avoid the bumpy road that always leads to pain and don't forget you can rest awhile learn to enjoy the Sun, not just put up with the rain - and cry - I hear you while your heart is speaking I - I'll carry you while you are seeking My Love - don’t you give up on me

Start Over 03:43
Start Over Music by William & Bryan Stevenson Words by Bryan Stevenson Stepping stones and milestones are tough to drag along Sort out all you need to know and put in a song Don’t try too hard to please everyone or you’ll find yourself alone Just love as you want love and plan to reap what you sow I don’t know everything But this I’ll say, you get to start over everyday Don’t work too hard or push too hard when push comes to shove You’ll forget who you’re working for and lose what you love Remember when you fall down to get back up again ‘Cause that’s how you learned to walk and you did that before you ran I don’t know everything But this I’ll say, you get to start over everyday Please take my advice It’s what got me here today I didn’t always listen to it myself and I paid a price a price I don’t want you to pay… I don’t know everything I won’t pretend to know everything Sometimes I don’t think I know anything
